On Tuesday, August 7th, the City of Monroe Police Department, along with 38 million + neighbors and 16+ thousand communities from all 50 states, will participate in National Night Out. This annual event, originally organized in 1984, is a day set aside to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. Join us for food and fun with our local heroes. Activities includes games and an obstacle course with the officers and a spraying from the fire hose! (make sure to bring a towel and wear clothes to play or get wet) FREE hot dogs provided by Walton EMC to the first 500 people.
